So the album's origin. I've had quite a colourful journey in music, and it's hard to pinpoint it fully. I started as a session musician aged 17 in covers bands playing around the M25 and getting paid 60 pounds a gig. After that, it was years of experiencing various aspects of being a session musician. Touring Europe supporting bands like Men I Trust, Band of Horses, Nathaniel Rateliff and Lord Huron. Playing music festivals like Greenman, Latitude, and Southside Festival, playing in different bands, and collaborating with artists and songwriters. In parallel to all of this, I got into electronic music significantly. It was another form of musical escapism. I started to feel an affinity with the communities and groups around the electronic music scene, and I began embracing myself as an artist. I love making music in general. And over time, my musical process began to refine, and I started showing my music to friends, releasing tracks and EPs. My thoughts were to embrace the medium of electronic music but play it out 'live' with the talented session musicians I had met along the way.
